Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions our clients ask most often — on how we work, the scope of our services and confidentiality.
What does hourly legal servicing cover?
Legal services provided on an hourly basis include ongoing legal advice, the drafting and review of documents, participation in negotiations with counterparties, assistance with administrative procedures and registrations, and related work. The fee is agreed at an hourly rate and invoiced against the hours recorded in the statement of legal work prepared by the lawyers.
How does a legal retainer work and what are its advantages?
A retainer provides a fixed package of hours per month at a preferential rate, securing priority service, a standing legal resource and predictable costs for the client’s ongoing needs.
Do you work with individuals, or is the focus entirely on corporate clients?
Our focus is on legal entities and business clients, but we also act for individuals on matters relating to commercial law, real estate, investments and civil contracts. The firm does not take on cases or advisory work in the fields of family and divorce law, or criminal proceedings.
How do you safeguard the confidentiality of sensitive business information?
We apply strict security and data protection protocols. All corporate strategies, financial data and trade secrets shared with us are protected both by the Bar Act and through individual non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) signed when working on sensitive projects.
How can I engage the firm and arrange an initial consultation?
You can contact us through the enquiry form on this website, by email or by telephone. The initial conversation usually covers your requirements, the parameters of a possible engagement, and the preparation of a specific proposal for an hourly rate or a retainer plan.
